What does Mike bring to the team at The Program? "A love for sports and leading others in a team."


With a love for the outdoors and staying active, Nate was drawn to strength and conditioning. After receiving a degree in exercise physiology and a minor in nutrition, Nate went on to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Nate enjoys athletics and working with resistance training and plyometrics in his sessions. When he's not training students, you can find Nate playing basketball, going snowboarding, or hiking.

MIKE STELLA

What does Mike bring to the team at The Program? "The willingness to overcome any obstacle in my way."


At Pinkerton Academy in his hometown of Derry, NH, Mike succeeded both academically and athletically as a varsity football player and honor roll student. He also received the Mortensen Award, rewarding him as the team's most determined football player. Mike's passion for football and leadership grew at Penn State as the Head Manager for the football team. He continued at Salem High School as both a Paraeducator and the Assistant Football Coach where his team was 2009 Division I New Hampshire State Champions. Mike strives to give his athletes the motivation to succeed, especially with what they thought was impossible.

CORY VARRELL

College: University of New Hampshire '10

What motivates Cory to be a leader? "I'm always trying to better myself, along with the people around me. People say perfection cannot be reached, but it is worth trying."


As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS®), Cory brings vast athletic training expertise to The Program. At Portsmouth High School, Cory was a star basketball and track athlete, receiving the honor of MVP for both sports as well the New Hampshire scholar-athlete award in 2006. He continued his athletic career on the University of New Hampshire field and track team, specializing in the long jump and the triple jump while studying for a degree in athletic training. Cory now utilizes this expertise to spot signs of injuries and how to rehabilitate them when working in the weight room. He strives to always be at the top of his game through his work at The Program.

ERIC DISCKO

College: Springfield College
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS®) through The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA™)
What motivates Eric to be a leader? "My motivation to be a leader comes from the results I see when I lead others into a position to succeed. Nothing is sweeter than victory."


Eric hails from West Haven, CT, where he was a success both on and off the field at Notre Dame High School. Eric was all-conference in football, a member of the New Haven All Star Team, inducted into the Levi Jackson Gridiron Hall of Fame, and an academic honors student. After attending Springfield College, he went on to coach football at Springfield Central High School, as well as serving as the Strength and Conditioning Coach at both Trinity College and Quinnipiac College during two internships. Eric brings an array of experience in Strength and Conditioning to The Program team, particularly drawing from his experience in collegiate settings.
